It is a myth...that radiation from mammograms causes
cancer. This form of radiation is low-dosage and therefore
considered safe.

It is a misconception...that mammograms cannot be done
on breasts with implants. A mammogram can show the breast
tissue surrounding an implant.

It is a myth...that antiperspirant increases your risk
of developing breast cancer. Antiperspirants and deodorants
are in no way associated with breast cancer.

It is a misconception...that pain is a common sign
of breast cancer. Pain is usually associated with non-cancerous
breast conditions. Unusual breast sensations should
still be reported to your doctor.

that you can get from someone else. You can not
give it to the people with whom you are close.

It is a misconception...that swollen lymph nodes
mean cancer is present. Swollen lymph nodes may
be caused by a number of conditions. In any case
it should be reported to your doctor.

It is a myth...that wearing an underwire bra
is a risk factor for developing breast cancer.
Bras have never been shown to cause breast cancer.
